Psychotherapy can be a wonderful opportunity to heal and grow. It offers a private space to unpack past hurts, cope with losses and disappointments, re-think goals, shift life perspectives, and ultimately build resilience, positivity, courage, and hope.

Your struggles may be with depression and anxiety, or with dealing with the after-effects of trauma and abuse. Or you may be discovering that the pain you have long tried to silence has grown and festered over time, and old wounds - long-buried and presumed ‘forgotten’ - have unexpectedly re-opened. Alternately, you may be starting to realize that high stress levels are destroying other important relationships/areas of your life, and may be seeking ways to manage stress. Or perhaps, you might simply be seeking a supportive and non-judgmental space as a springboard to starting brave new life journeys or gaining new insights. Whatever your unique story or struggle, psychotherapy can offer the support and intervention needed to regain your emotional balance and have a renewed sense of meaning and self-direction.

Life is a balancing act!

We are constantly trying to balance many things in life, be it our many roles and responsibilities, our various identities and affiliations, or the myriad of opportunities and obstacles that come across our paths. This effort is often rewarding, but sometimes can become difficult, overwhelming, or lonely. Regardless of our public selves, our inner selves crave harmony, wellness and a sense of calm. Making the decision to be in therapy is not always an easy one as there are often many other life to-do(s) competing for time and investment. However, commitment to one’s emotional and mental wellbeing should always be a life priority!
